She is teething and seems to be under the weather with it.
The rash is lots of little red dots, slighly raised, could this be connected to the teething?

the fact that it hasnt' faded completely - don't panic but do take immediate action as the other posters have said. call your doctor's out of hours service immediately adn tell them what you've told us. always best to be on the safe side.

got to give dp his puter, but will try to check in later to see what doc said.

massivebigpantsface · 20/11/2007 23:29

well we ended up being told to take her up to A&E, where we have just got back from.
She's fine! They suggested it was viral. Now I'm just having a nightmare trying to settle her back down!

Thanks all for your help!

oh I'm glad she is OK

DS (8 months) had similar last week (whilst we were on holiday, grrr) and the conclusion the doc and I came to was a 'non-specific viral rash'. DD (nearly 3 then got it too). Horrid, isn't it?

fryalot · 21/11/2007 11:48

so glad she's ok.
