Arm pain and ocular migraine

I have been having bad migraines since xmas time, always suffered but about 1 every two years.
They always have blind spots but hat passes quick and then I'm left with headache... Sometimes no pain but a heavy head feeling

The last two headaches have been different. One I was left very confused and couldn't remember what to do in a shop to pay.
The second was Monday, the ocular stayed for over an hour, no head pain but preauure and photo sensitive and heavy arm pain and tingly.
The next day all that as left is the arm sensation ache. Its still here today.
Anyone with experience?
I take amitriptyline every night to prevent them. Which makes me a zombie.
Have a call logged with gp today too

I often get tingling arm/hands just before my ocular migraines, and also sometimes have a feeling of confusion like being unable to find words for an hour or so afterwards - I was told both can be normal, but that was after I had a thorough check over by the GP and hospital.

I have this but was also checked for other things before they reassured me.

Please try acupuncture. It can be really effective for migraines. Recommended by NICE. Sometimes if the pain is in the arm it is also around the necks occipital area. So linked to neck pain.

Tha ks for of you for advice.
I got checked by gp and neurologist over the phone. By day 6 it has now passed.
So am now sure it was a migraine symptom.
They really are the worst.
Will look into acupuncture, thanks again.
