hi! i hope you can help me out.

my DD is now 17 weeks old and has been teething for 4 weeks. the HV spotted one 'bud' on each side of her upper gum.

my question is... when are they actually going to come out? is it possible that she has more than those 2 trying to come out? it just seems sooooo loooong 4 weeks of teething without any pearl on sight. what is your experience on it?

(yes, lots of sleepless nights... i want a breaaaaaak)

Sometime before she is 2yrs olg .

Not very useful but dd1 sufferred for months before each tooth arrived.

ALso i now have dd2 who is just 10 weeks has been chewing and dribbling since about 4 weeks and if you rub her top gum you can feel a sharp point as if a tooth is coming.

It seemed constant at the time, but there must have been quite times.

DD1 started at about 6mths and didn't get all her teeth until she was about 2.6years. But she didn't go through the night until then as well could wake every hour on the hour for weeks on end [knacked look].

I would get dragged into thinking that we were over the worst because we would have a week of only waking twice a night then it would start again.

thats exactly my DD's sleeping pattern now. before the teething, she would wake only once at night. now every hour for days, then 2 hours, and sometimes every 3 hours. im exhausted!
