A ‘could you diagnose me’ thread - strange thing on my leg

I’m really trying to see if this is with the hassle of ringing at 8.00am for an appointment .....

I have what looks like a blood blister on my leg. Except it’s not. If I scratch it, it starts bleeding quite a bit (for something that size) the stops and comes back to what it was.
I think it’s slowly growing in size too.

What do you think?

The darkness around it is the shadow. I’ve just tripled checked as I worried I had missed something!

Looks like a haemangioma.
Best get a GP opinion though.

KeepingTrack · 06/06/2021 13:18

Are haemangioma not bright red in colour rather than dark/black colour?

I may be way off here, but could it be a tick?

MrsBongiovi · 06/06/2021 13:23

Things like cherry angiomas can become thrombosed and turn much darker than the typical red colour. You should get it checked though.

I’m sure it’s not a tick. It would have been there for half a year!

So consensus is to have it checked....

Let’s face calling the GP tomorrow....
