arrrrrggggggghhhhhhh .. DH is in an arthritic flare ATM but am I allowed to talk to him about it .. no I bloody well am not .. just getting those eye rolls and 'stop nagging' comments

its so bloody frustrating .. it's like trying to get blood out of a stone. In the last 4 months he's said:

he needs to go back to his rheumatologist and get a dermatologist .. he's done neither

he needs to up his dosage of methotrexate ... which he's done but hasn't got an increased prescription .. he's just taking more pills than the 'script' says to do (which also ends up costing us more)

he needs to go for his bi-weekly blood test (he's 7 days late for it) and then go to GP to talk about the increased dosage and get revised prescription

he doesn't even pick up his blood results any more

AND he can't get up in the mornings and is finding it increasingly difficult again so is short-tempered with DS ... its definitely another bloody flare

I don't know what I'm ranting against TBH .. ite either him or the disease(s)

It's a man thing. Dh and my dad are just the same. And whatever you do is wrong - if you're sympathetic they are irritated; if you ignore them you don't care; if you say "go and see the doctor" you're nagging; if you suggest something to help you get told you've no idea. Men, love 'em (???)
