Elbow bursitis - previously infected and healed, now shooting pains

I had an infected bursitis in my elbow in December, I was remotely prescribed antibiotics via out of hours (developed fever on a Saturday) and all healed up within the week (also found out I am allergic to penicillin).

Over the last few days I've been getting shooting pains in my elbow and it looks a bit red, but to be honest as all the skin came off last time it was still a bit raw looking anyway.

So, no swelling and no fever and it's not hot but definitely the same shooting pains I had before. I am aware that these things can develop and become serious but not sure if I should be contacting GP at this point.

Anyone any experience with this?
