I am mainly posting just to say things out loud rather than expecting much response.
I've had a lump on my vulva for a while now, over a year. It's noticeable, like bouncy ball size, but I've always told myself it is a prolapse. I finally decided to get it checked on Monday and came away with an emergency 2 week turnaround to the gynaecology unit and a kidney function blood test in case they need to operate.
I know it could be something like a cyst but I just feel so bloody stupid for not going earlier. And now letters are arriving with "suspected vulval cancer" as the header and it all feels like it's happened so quick.
Appointment is next Friday so I just have to wait it out until then I guess. Waiting is always shit though.
