Elevated white blood count. Feeling rubbish since covid injection

Hello, just wonder if anyone has felt like this since covid injection. I have had a sever reaction of fever and chronic fatigue.

My first was late January. I had a terrible reaction. Sore left side, fever for 48 hrs and terrible fatigue for 2 weeks. Slowly felt better, but the fatigue stayed. Period lasted 2 weeks.

Second injection beginning of April. No fever or soreness but again terrible fatigue that hasn’t gone away. Periods since have lasted 2 weeks.

I called my dr to discuss fatigue as it was turning into brain fog and I was struggling to concentrate at work amd life. I also can’t sleep well. No trouble falling asleep but I wake up at 4am for 30 minutes fall back asleep and turn up again at 6.30 am for work. When I wake up I am not worrying or thinking about anything. It’s a dirty habit for months. I don’t feel stressed.

Gp did blood test. My results have come back as elevated white blood count of 14.9. They think it may be virus related. It’s getting repeated.

However I was ok until I had my vaccine. My GP says I have had an extreme reaction. They now wonder if it’s the vaccine that’s caused my high wbc?

I haven’t had covid as I get fortnightly blood and pcr tests through a clinical trial. I was negative with both. My blood only showed positive antibodies after my injection.

Anyone any suggestions? Related or bad luck!

Hi OP,

I know this was a long time ago but did you ever get to the bottom of this?

Hey. Not really. I got tested again and my blood sugars were high. Ended up being diagosed with type 2 diabetes. Dr said was unlucky as not overweight and quite young. Now medicated loads as they can’t control it.

was sent for more blood tests as my red blood cell count ended up being high too. Got checked over by many drs including oncologist. Working theory they think I have some form or rare red blood cell cancer were treatment is giving a pint of blood regularly. but in watch and wait so blood tests every 3 months.

no results have changed except sugars lower. Other theory is that’s just my blood results.

but was fine before injections. Potential Covid triggered something g in y pancreas. But feeling tired still but much better

How odd - my white blood cells are elevated and my red blood cells are also slightly high.
My glucose levels are borderline, not brilliant.
All of the tests I had were after what seemed like Covid or a stomach virus or both. I initially thought I had Pancreatitis because of the pain in my stomach.

Is it one of the MPN’s that they think you might have? I hope you get some answers soon.
