Anyone on sulfracate or have bile reflux?

Anyone at all?....just looking to hear some hopefully positive words... Been struggling for months, finally got sulfracate yesterday...I’d just love some hope or positivity (the online support groups seem to be only full of people saying they’ve been in agony for years😖☹️). TIA🙏

Yes I do. It can be incredibly painful and I take medication for it at the moment,though it’s not always effective. Eating small meals, staying away from fatty, Spicey, acidic foods helps. I can’t sleep on my right side either.

If it helps I was diagnosed about four years ago then nothing in the way of symptoms until a few months ago. The stress of Covid I think, but until then no problems at all!

I’m still struggling too sadly - can’t seem to get the gastritis under control and weigh next to nothing…. What medications are you on? Just Sucralfate or is there something else worth trying? I reckon I’ve probably had it a while too and the more severe symptoms have appeared with the dramas & stress of flipping covid!…. Thank you again for responding!

You’re welcome! I’m just on that one medication at the moment. The food issue is the big one, as long as I avoid all triggers it’s ok. So no tomato, spicey, salty, sugar, anything with much fat, potato, acidic…most foods! Also no tea or anything too hot as it irritates things too. It’s hard as most reading out there is about acid reflux, not bile, so google help is limited. I hope things are sorted for you soon.
