Hi everyone. I have one kidney- functioning fine. My pregnancy is classed as high risk though. At 13 weeks I got told I had low papp a and started 150mg of aspirin for it. I also thought it was because of my risk of pre eclampsia with 1 kidney. I'm 24+3 now. Had a uterine doppler last week and that seems fine. My next app is not til 32 weeks for another growth scan. I'm just wondering now if the aspirin is safe for my kidney or benefits outweigh risk as low papp a causes a risk of pre eclampsia too. The consultant only works Tuesdays and I've only ever met his assistant once. Has anyone else been on aspirin with a solitary kidney during pregnancy?
