Feeling a bit got at......& now DH is being got at too

I started with a cold on about 11th/12th October 10 days later I went to the DR's because I felt so rotten. I had a chest, throat, ear, sinus infection with a mouth ulsa that was infected. The next day I got 2 tooth abscesses.

2 lots of antibiotics later I still had ear ache & the tooth abscesses (both of them) - so now I am on drops from the Dr and after 4 days of the worst pain ever I am gradually getting better. BUT I am feeling very sorry for myself & quite miserable

DH has just been given his 4th lot of antibiotics and 2nd lot of steroids in 6 weeks for a chest infection & he has to go get tests (again) at the hospital

Now I know that cold & chest infections and ear ache aren't serious in the scheme of things but they are making our lives miserable & meaning we can't do anything & it's DD's birthday party tomorrow

Oh gosh you poor things, that sounds absoltuely awful. I loathe being ill and I used to get what you're describing alot as a kid and it's got me fearful scared everytime I feel a hint of anything because I remember how foul it was.

Has your DD stayed clear of it so far? Lots of hot toddys and takeaways!!!

I sympathise totally. Either DP, DD or I have been ill since September with one thing or another - it is never ending, like you say, it is impossible to do anything!

& now on top of it all I have open sores where my eyebrows should be

Only 3 or 4 on each eyebrow & you can barely see then (my hair is very dark)
