Blood clot/bruise on sole of foot. Anyone had this? Is it something to concern me?

I am late 50's and overweight. I have developed what looks like a blood clot on the sole of my foot under the arch. It is sore to walk on. I am unsure if this needs to be discussed with my GP or not. Could it be indicative of clots elsewhere in me? Anyone had this?

No it isn't. It is much deeper under the skin.
