Struggling to walk nearly 50

Really struggling to walk more than 20 metres at present, i walk and feel all achy at the bottof my spine and feel the need to lean on something to alleviate the pain. My legs then start trembling. I'm very overweight but never struggled like this but without walking it means my exercise is further limited.
I am also extremely fatigued whereby I can literally just fall asleep, i also get flashes in my sight?
Wondering if it the menopause? Any advice?

how overweight?

How far could you walk without difficulty on say.... 1 March 2021? What about on 1 December 2020?

are you more overweight now then you were on 1 March or 1 December?

Flashes could be a million things; such as light-headed from low sugar or sudden blood pressure surges.

See your GP, OP. Hope they help you.

Could you try to diet a bit and say do a few squats and walking on flat ground. Do it very gradually. I became less fit over lockdown and put onote weight.

The fatigue and eyesight issues make me think of diabetes.

Get some bloods done at the GP - I’m thinking things like thyroid, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. Also consider HRT for menopause- joint pain can be part of this.

How overweight is 'very overweight?' Weight will have a bearing as you get older. So you probably won't be incapacitated by an extra couple of stones, but a significant amount is going to catch up with you. Couple that with the perimenopause / menopause and it could be the reason

Slipped disc... sciatica... circulation probs. See doctor. Get x rays or cat scan
