I had for three days, fever, headache, extreme watery diarrhea and loss of taste. No vomiting.
I thought it was covid but several tests were negative. It seems it was food poisoning.
However I cannot explain the loss of taste.
Have you experienced that before?
I read on Wikipedia that norovirus can cause loss of taste but I have not been able to find a good reference for it.
I read that metallic taste can appear after food poisoning but I am not sure if it is due to vomiting.
