Help to calm work related anxiety symptoms

I am currently experiencing a range of symptoms related (I presume) to going through a difficult time at work. Constant stomach ache, waking up very early and being unable to go back to sleep, fatigue during the day, feeling on edge etc I was hoping that some kind soul could suggest some ways of dealing with this as the situation at work is due to continue for at least 2 months.

Oh lovely I was exactly the same last year, around October...I spoke to work so they knew and went to my gp. I decided to take antidepressants which helped and also I tried to be kind to myself. I am much much better now!

Do not suffer in silence.

Have you tried self-referring to your local NHS mental health service? You just fill in some questionnaires and can usually access some initial CBT that way. Solidarity, OP, work related anxiety is just awful.

I will definitely look into how to self refer. Thank you both x

The 4 7 8 breathing technique can be helpful. Or listening to relaxation or mindfulness when going to sleep or when you wake up at 5am. Try and get outside for a walk, even if just for 15 minutes. I hope it passes soon for you.

I find yoga breathing helps calm me at my desk or getting fresh air
