A few months ago I could feel a small niggling pain in my right buttock after walking 1.5 hours, it would usually fade away later. Then did a slightly longer walk of 2.5 hours and the pain was worse, and didn't fade so quickly.
Now the pain changes, sometimes it's more in my hip, sometimes more in my buttock, sometimes in both.
Certain things make it worse:
- 5 mins of kitchen dancing moving hips
- Squats
- Lying on floor and bringing knee to chest
- Sitting for more than 1 hour
The GP gave me exercises but the exercises (e.g. bringing knee to chest) just make the pain way worse and then it takes a couple of days to settle down again
Anyone know what this is? All hip and buttock problems online say to do certain exercises, but all the exercises are things that would make the pain much worse.
