Some possible good news about DH, will find out more on Monday

Dh has started to not respond to the drug treatment and his tumours have returned, along with the symptoms.

We had spoken to the GP who has refered dh to the Hospice for Paliative care, so the begining of the end (sorry if that is over dramatic)

Anyway, we have just had a phone call from the hospital, form his oncologist, asking him if he wants to try a new drug.

Have no idea which one, what it involves, if it is a clinical trial. But they want to see him (and he wants me to go with him) to discuss the option on Monday.

Please keep everything crossed for us

I'm quietly hopeful that this will be new clinical trials and buy you lots of extra time together.

10 years ago my mum had pancreatic cancer and her oncologist told us several times that he felt that within 10 years there would be a longterm treatment for this form of cancer.

I do so hope he is proved right.
