Had this 15 years ago.
Had laser treatment and no probs since, i do make sure i have a smear test every 1 or 2 years though.
Try not to worry.

Is fine joedar. I have coposcopy and bipsy every 6 months to keep on to of it. A bit of a pain to organise with kids and work etc but worthwhile. There cant be much left of me down there I have had that much chopped away. You will be fine - just keep going to appointments.

Hi thanks for the replies, just a question for you guys, did either of you ever have soreness with theese changes? or blood stained discharge between periods? or pain after intercourse?

Have been attending coloposcopy clin for about year and half have had biop but nothing removed, last biop showed it was in the cells but not the tissue.

Try not to worry about it at 30 would have liked to try for another baby and just waiting to get a clear smear, is it something I will have for life?

Feel silly worrying about it but its always at the back of my mind!! have you guys felt this way throughout your treatment?

Have they told you to wait for a clear smear before trying for a baby? Dont feel silly worrying about this your healthnis the most important thing.

I think this is something I will have for life. I got chatting with others in the waiting room at hops and some had been going for 12 years. I just see it as like the dentist but free!. I freaked when got my first result but know that if I left it I would be in trouble in 10 years. Good luck. x

Hi joedar, I have had two lots removed from my cervix and am now 15 weeks pregnant, last smear was normal 11 months ago, they are observing my cervix carefully - we had a thread here with loads of info - hopefully that helps a bit - I also quite often had blood after intercourse, occasionally pain.
