Colloidial Silver?

I have been coughing for weeks and am getting really down and don't know how to get better - I'm thinking of trying Colloidial Silver solution - it's £25 a bottle but I've probably spent that much is over the counter cough medicines in the last 3 weeks so tempted to give it a go. Does anyone have any experience of using colloidial silver?

No - but I would rather try herbal remedies. Onion is good, so onion soup, lots of garlic, or try the old wicked witch's spell (mum's!) - slice up an onion, layer it in bowl with some sugar, leave overnight (wrap it up well, otherwise everything in the fridge will smell of onion) then in the morning spoon off some of the liquid that's formed. Keep doing this (more liquid will form over a few hours) - this will chase the cough from a tickly one down into a chesty cough, which is the first stage to getting better.
