I think i might have a STD!!!! i have had alot of pinkish/whitish discharge after my period and it was really smelly (sorry TMI)it lasted 4 days and it gone now..
Can anyone help me i only ever had 2 partners one i am in a relationship with for 7 years...

The only way you'll know is to get swabs done at your GP. Or if you prefer you can go to a GUM clinic which specialise in that area (pardon the pun!).

Can't remember whether or not you need to be referred there, but could be worth a ring to see if you can make an appointment yourself.

I hope someone here can tell you what GUM stands for, i think it is Genito - Urinary - ???

Prob not an STD since it's cleared up by itself. Had you tried a different brand of tampon, something scented for example? I would definitely go and get it checked out either way.

Thank you all, We are also trying for kids and i think it may be a sperm smell IYKWIM... but i am checking it out to be on the safe side..
I really hope it is nothing, fingers crossed...

and i had a touch of thrush b4 my last period, was getting the cream and getting it and never did, though it cleared up..
