How do I get my 6 months old dd to have fluids ?? HELP

Hi Summerfruit sorry to hear DD is poorly.

have you tried water in a wee spouty cup?

Also try to incorporate 'watery' foods in her diet, eg melon/orange/cucumber (am assuming you have started on solids)

Hopefully somone else will be along with more suggestions for you

Poor little one dd had it at 3 months and was quite poorly. Is your dd ff or bfed ? I had to feed little and often via a bottle of ebm as breastfeeding was too tiring and time consuming. If not milk perhaps very diluted fruit juice. Is she taking any solids ? She might take more fluid if she has less appetite.

Ds used to be willing to drink from a cup at that age. We'd just hold it up for him and he would sort of lap at the water.
