Post partum psychosis still being used against my niece 4 years on

I am disgusted and quite disturbed that my niece's ex and social services are using her post partum psychosis against her 4 years later in a custody battle.

This is an absolute disgrace! Has anyone else had this happen to them? I want to turn it back onto social services and use it against them.

That's really worrying. Why are they using that against her? It wasn't her fault. Does she have other mental health problems currently?

It is very worrying. No she doesn't have mental health problems currently but her ex is lying (about all sorts of things) and the SW believes him. I really want to know what action people have taken in similar situations and how it worked out.

Who was the primary carer when they were together. Because if her ex was happy to leave the child with his wife when they were married then he's clearly just using this as an excuse, now, to take her away.

It's the oldest most boring trick in the book - my ex is nuts - and fucking social workers should be ignoring it, not pandering to it.

@StephenBelafonte you've hit the nail right on the head. I can't believe the SW has fallen for it.
