pain in boob?

its gone now but earlier on had real bad pain boob,couldnt decide whether to panic or not so chose to ignore and hope it went which it did.any ideas what it could have been?does any one get this?

Are you breastfeeding - these can be blocked milk ducts.

If not, it can be that you have a pulled muscle, it can be a trapped nerve, it can be that you have a spot coming up on your boob (yuck I know). Anything.

HOWEVER pain in the boob can also be one of the main signs in women on a heart attack! People don't realise it but women get different symptoms to men. Don't fret, it's highly unlikely but just so you know.

Ibuprofen - 200mg if it's a swelling or muscle thing this will help and if it's not it'll kill the pain anyway.

Oh gosh no, I wouldn't panic. What's the point? Did you have any other symptoms?

If you have your period btw, you can get hormonal surges which can cause sudden boob pains.

Was the pain radiating towards the nipple, or localised?

Symptoms in women of heart attack btw, boob pain, backache, grumpiness, bad headache (sounds like me most days, yet I'm still here)

BTW, I know all this because I have had mastitis, abcesses, breast lumps, everything that can go wrong in norkland has happened here

thanks your a star.so my get on with it thing was good-jolly good.ive had urine infection also today so really feeling rundown but much better now.i wouldnt mind if i actually had bit more boob for pain to be in!!!
