Hi I know a lot of negative things regarding the mirena have been posted on here. But I have had mine now for a year and cannot praise it enough, I dont need it for contraception, but for really heavy flooding during my periods. I can only say its been absolutely brilliant for me,its transformed my life, and I can only recommend you give it a try. :}
