Panicking - Could I be pregnant?

May be TMI but need some advice,

My periods returned after having DD when she was 6 weeks old. 1st one lasted a week which was fine, 28 days later had another which lasted a week. DP and i then managed full sex for the first time a few days later which led to me bleeding for a full week afterwards.
Now, i was due to start my period 22nd October and nothing has happened.

I am on the mini pill and i know my periods could be irregular from having DD but considering that the first 2 were every 28 days do you think its possible i am pregnant?

Thanks in Advance

SC x

that should say "another" test as it looks like you did one and it was negative.

Take it calmly, as my dad would say. If you have only had 2 periods since dd was born, you are not yet established in a routine. I had loads of odd periods, brown bleeds, etc before a regular pattern emerged and things went back to normal. Are you breast-feeding by any chance? That can prevent proper cycles starting.
If you took a preg test and it was neg, as it appeared to be, you needn't worry about pregnancy. If all else fails to reassure you, go and do another preg test. I'm nearly 100% sure you are not pregnant

agree with LM and Kayleigh - do another test, if its neg, stop worrying but go to the Family Planning Clinic anyway to discuss lack of AF (reason I say FPC is they will have more experience of impact of mini-pill on your cycle). IIRC the mini-pill can give you light irregular bleeding or even stop your periods anyway. if you are in any doubt as to whether the PG tests are accurate you can have blood tests to see if you are PG

Thanks guys - i knew that the best thing to do is test but was secretly hoping someone would say "Nope, there is DEFINITELY no way you are pregnant SC so stop worrying"

Hope the test result was OK?
