Any dentists/hygienists around? - implant crown issue

I had two adjacent dental implant crowns put in 6 months ago. They were done by a Professor of Restorative Dentistry so no issue with the treatment quality. Yesterday I was eating lunch (wrap with soft filling) and I heard a funny squeak and felt a funny sensation in that area. I checked my implants and noticed that the implant at the back has a line on it and the one in front has a couple of dots on it. They may have been there before - I’m not sure as I haven’t been scrutinising them recently. I’ll definitely be ringing the dentist’s on Tuesday but does anyone have a view on what’s going on in the meantime? It’s hard to see a colour but I’d say the line and spots are brown rather than black (???). I’m concerned that they’ve been damaged and after spending £5K I was hoping for longer than 6 months. Thanks.

That gum doesn't look very healthy. The lines and dots look absolutely standard but the gum health would worry me. That said, I've only seen implants when they've gone wrong.

Hopefully someone up to date will be along to advise shortly.

Thanks. I think the picture makes it look like I have big gaps either side between implant and gums but I don’t. The gap is between my implants and my cheek/tongue if that makes sense.

Makes sense OP. Lines and dots are put there by the techs to make the cross look like real teeth. You cannot affect them by eating.

ImplantwoeismeatEaster21 I'd want to have a face to face look at the implant at the bottom of your picture. There is a line in the porcelain that needs checking. It may be nothing but without being seen it's impossible to tell.
Your implants are screw retained so the torque may need checking.

Thanks for the replies so far. I managed to get an appointment with the hygienist next Monday so I’ll start there.
