how do u get the smell of sickness out of the couch carpet clothes etc

dd has just projectile vomited oll over the fron room. ive cleand it up but how do i get rid of the smell

surgical spirit, wipe in the direction of the weave/pile.
The surgical spirit will smell for a bit and then fade.

Clean up properly and the Febreeze. Hate the smell of Febreeze but that fades in a few days but takes the odour of vomit away. If it's particularly bad you may have to do it a few times - this is what saved our car seat!

try some products they use for animal pee?

Sprinkle over dry bicarb once youve cleaned the carpet from the most of the mess.
Leave it to dry, then hoover off.

It works wonders.

Was recommended to me on here a couple of months ago, not a single whiff of it since.

BICARBONATE OF SODA

biological washing powder.

It contains enzymes that break down proteins - body fluids. It has to be warm and you can get one that has febreeze in it.
