Hello! Can anyone tell me if they have had their child's single (mmr) vaccines (administered by a company called Direct Remedies (or DDR) or Dr. D.D. Ratnasinghe. They operate a mobile outreach service and are coming to my area soon, but because I don't know anything about him or the company I would appreciate any comments if anyone has used them previously. They are one of the few places that seem to administer the rubella first - is this usual? Thanks.

Please help! I'm meant to be booking it today, but would love some reassurance/comments from anyone who's used the company, first.

I have not used this company but just to let you know that rubella is always done first, its to do with a loophole in the system that allows single vaccines to be given. Rubella is the only vaccine licensed separately, but once they have had rubella they are said to have started a course which must be finished.

Sorry, can't help with the company, but just to let you know that my ds had single vaccines and started with measles first (only clinic to do so I think) but everyone else I know did have rubella first. Good luck.

my dd had single vaccines at the Elstree Airdrome clinic - Measles was first. Makes more sense to me as this is probably the most important...

My ds had single vaccines and had the measles jab first, then the mumps then rubella. But this was done on the NHS so I don't know if this makes a difference.
