HELP PLEASE - eye drops

Any advice gratefully taken for getting antibiotic eye drops into my 2 year old. He currently screams, flails & writhes about on the floor shaking his head with his eyes squeezed shut & I'm worried that nothing is finding its way through to his eyes.

Oh, its a nightmare isn't it.
May be too late, but we somehow persuade ds that it tickled think I put some in my eyes and giggled.

Otherwise, brute force (wedge his head between your legs whilst he's lying down), or bribery

You need to let him feel a bit in control. So he lies on his side and you put the bottle close to the outside edge of his eye and he says when. Then you let the drops drip from the outside to the inside of his eye (slowly). This way it's not a splash in the eye and he won't mind so much.

Bribery afterwards for being such a good boy is also useful.

Eye drops don't phase me, I've had to give a cat suppositories
