My head is feels like it's moving/creeping, how do I know if it's nits & aren't I too old for then ?!

Get yourself a nittygritty comb, copious amounts of conditioner and comb, comb, comb. If you have nits the comb will get them out. You are never to old to have nits (says she from bitter experience who found a few and had all her long thick hair cut short straight away to find the next time she combed she'd got rid of them before cutting all her long hair )

no-one's too old for head lice - hair is hair tbh!! If you think you have them, then get a nit comb and some conditioner and either have a go at checking your hair yourself or get a helpful person to check it for you (much easier!)

Check with comb, for sure. NOt too old, especially if you cuddle/lie with/play with your kids

That said, my head creeps and crawls every time there's a 'nits in the class' sign on dd's classroom door, and so far I've not had them....autosuggestion, v powerful...

My kids gave me nits earlier this year - and the biggest symptom was that the back/nape of my neck got seriously itchy. Couldn't really feel them moving/creeping....agree about the autosuggestion....am now scratching the back of my neck like mad! Aaargh

I have had them a number of times - both me and DD have thick long black hair...pain the arse agree with nitty gritty and comb comb comb!
