Tea tree oil in foot spa- fungal nails?

What do you think?

Rather than paint the offending nails, could I stick my feet in a foot spa with 'sufficient' tea tree oil in the water? Or couldn't it be strong enough?

it wouldn't be strong enough.
nail fungus needs proper treatment, ask at the pharmacy.

Amorolfine is the active ingredient to treat fungal nail infections, it takes forever though and you have to stick at it.
It's not prescription only so you can buy in pharmacies but just to be sure ask someone competent when you are there.
Good luck 🤞

The tea tree oil will just float on the top unless you put an emulsifier in there as well.

Even so you'd need to put the neat oil on your nails for it to have any effect.

Thanks, everyone!
