as she was climbing into bed (over the wooden bars) and we found her sobbing Nothing to show apart from a bit of redness but bet it hurt. Any ideas as to how to make her more comfy ?

I did something similar on my bike when I was about 8 (ouch). Couldn't go to loo...My mother put me in a hot bath which helped.

Give her some Calpol and/or Nurofen and a hot water bottle between the legs.

Hope she's ok.

Calpol and maybe some Sudocreme or something - the placebo effect might help.

Perhaps a little hot water bottle might help as well.

Ouch - Detta I too had a bike/crossbar type accident when I was 6, very sore.

Do you have any arnica pills? Might help but not the cream obviously.
