Hashimotos and blood test results

Does anyone else have trouble getting the results of their thyroid blood tests? I've recently had my annual review and been told my results are borderline and they want to retest in 2 months. All attempts to get actual figures have so far been futile, and the only answers I've got are borderline too low, but whether that's TSH too low or T4 too low is anyone's guess

Are yours not uploaded onto your doctor's online access system? That is where I get mine from. Failing that you can ask for a printout of the actual results from the GP receptionists, as we are legally entitled to see these. If they were hospital ones, you could email the consultant's secretary to ask for them to be sent out.

No, test results aren't available via the online system they use I've been back and forth with the receptionists who refuse to disclose any details, so now going to have to waste a doctor's appointment to try and get the figures.

I have some very slight symptoms of being undermedicated at the moment, but these are slight and based on past experience this will improve as we move into summer so happy with a retest in 2 months time.

There should be no reason they are withholding them as they are your personal results! Definitely raise that with the practice manager.
That is interesting that yiu say your symptoms improve in the summer months - is that common? I hope my coldness will improve and my awful pale skin... I was diagnosed with hashimoto's in the Autumn so still finding out about it all!
