I have had a sore throat since Monday. I feel fine in myself, no temperature, no cough, no head ache, no swollen glands, etc. However, the sore throat has not gotten worse (thankfully) or better since Monday, it's just lingered.
My tonsils look normal; they aren't red and there are no white spots.
How long do sore throats usually last? Is there a point where I should contact my GP? I do have a heart condition and read that tonsillitis must be treated with antibiotics in people with heart conditions but I don't think I have tonsillitis.
