Urgent neurology referral

I've had an urgent referral done to neurology at my local hospital, I was due to be seen in April but due to a change in my symptoms I am now being seen in 2 weeks time, I suffer from hemiplegic migranes (stroke like symptoms) and have recently started hallucinating and my symptoms have got worse, has anyone else any experience with This? The letter says I've been referred as I may have symptoms of cancer which is worrying me a tad

How long have you had symptoms OP?

It sounds like you've been referred under the 2 weeks wait referral pathway.

Remember that is a pathway to discard cancer rather than confirm it. The very vast majority of people referred under the 2ww do not have cancer.

Waiting for the appointment and tests is m
one horrible time of anyone's life. Sending you hugs during this period.

Thank you @dontdisturbmenow that's reassuring to know, I've had this type of migranes since I was 16 I'm now 30, I would have one or two a year but from December 2019 I started getting up to 19 a month and they just have not let up despite trying so many types of medication and trying alternative treatments myself! I went private to see a neurologist initially as I was so concerned, but I could only afford a few appointments so then went back to my gp and it's taken a year to get a referral, I was due an appointment in April but now that's been changed to urgent. I just want answers and to be able to live a normal life, it's so crippling
