Ahem, my pelvis has decided to stick out in a most unseemly manner in the right side. Help!

Last week was incapacitated with excruciating back ache. Was all lopsided which I assumed was muscles in spasm cause me to hold myslef awkwardly. Well, acute pain is easing. But my pelvis on the right side is sticking out much more than the left and much more than it out to be.

What to do? Drs are not up to much on this kind of stuff. I assume I need to see and osteopath. But are ther eany exercises I should/could be doing? One leg seems longer than the other.

Not much advice I'm afraid but after I had my DS, my pelvis was misaligned (sp?) and I had to have 6 weeks of physio. Could you perhaps suggest your GP refers you to physio?

Sorry for typos

Mishy - how long after seeing gp did physio start?

I started physio about 2 weeks after giving birth (I couldn't walk). I can't remember if it was my GP who referred me or whether it was my midwife or it may even have been my HV? Not sure if I was given emergency priority though as I had a newborn to look after?

I would definitely ask GP to refer you ASAP and suggest (beg, or start crying) they put you forward as an emergency referral.

Good luck
