Yes I know - impossible to know from a written description but ideas might be nice!
A friends lad had a bad rash a couple of weeks ago. Hi Mum thought it was from reacting with swimming. Now another friends child has gone down with the same rash.
Shes 8. Did have a high temp and was generally unwell last week. Then rash came out on friday. the rash is concentrated round the trunk and chest but is also in the arm pits, groin etc. It is raised, pink and itchy. Small to medium blotches. Some of them are a little scaly. She saw the gp saturday who said it was eczema but her Mum isn't convinced and showed it to a chemist who said it isnt. Besides if it was, what a coincidence that her friend should get it a couple of weeks before.
I suspect its a non-specific viral rash but its 5 days now and pretty spectacular to look at.
Thoughts please?
