Hi,

I have read a lot of threads on here about plantar fasciitis. Has anyone had the steroid injection for it and does it work?

I have booked one for next week and want to make sure I'm not wasting my money.

Already tried physio etc.

Ta.

What have you tried?

Physio weekly and the exercises at home in between sessions inc the roller ball

Insoles in every pair of shoes and always wearing slippers, never barefoot.

Compression socks or keeping it taped up with KT tape.

I have been paying for physio which improves it but cant afford to carry on now really so the injection is the price of 5 x physio sessions, thought it might work better?

Not the same thing so maybe not helpful but I had a steroid injection in my wrist for De Quervains after lots of physio, taping, splinting etc. The physio had improved it but the injection really fixed it and been fine ever since.

That's good to know thanks Dino.
