Only having a minor thing - but in need of a bit of moral support!

When are you having surgery?

Tues pm.

So you have a day to settle yourself, maybe do something nice for yourself if you can?

I hope it goes well for you. Good luck and the thing about mumsnet is you've got somewhere to talk about it more in depth if you need to, or a place to whinge after if you aren't comfy.

Thanks Whizz.
I have loads to do today, think it's best I'm keeping busy!

Have kiddies swimming this evening, DH working late etc so busy evening too.

But tomorrow once the DC's are at school...a nice relaxing bath to calm my nerves before I go!

Sounds like a plan! And maybe work out what sort of comforting meal you can have after to look after yourself?

Yeah, although I don't know if I will feel like eating tomorrow!

The surgery is on my eye, I can't see very well out of the other one (as the one I'm having surgery on is my 'good' eye), but luckily DH is having a couple of days off with me.
