Hi all. I wondered if any of you had experience similar? When I swallow food, a small patch on the left side of my thraot hurts - as if its bruised. Been like this for a while. Nurse seemed baffled and wants to 'throw antibiotics at it next week' but I don't have any other symptoms suggesting an infection. I feel fine apart from this feeling!! Any ideas? Been through similar? I'm trying to stay off the Dr Google route....
Thanks!

Have you had a look for tonsil stones. I had one sore side of my throat and it hurt to swallow. Also felt like I had a limp in my throat.
Turned out I had a big tonsil stone, looked like a small white round thing but I pushed it out of my tonsil and was quite big 🤢 dunno how doctors didnt notice it

Lump not limp

Hi Screw Corona
Thanka. Had a look. Can't see anything in tonsils. They are both the same size. X

You should see your GP for medical review. Not trying to be alarming but get it checked.

I agree with neonnights, best to have a doctor check it. Most likely it is nothing to be concerned about but but better to be sure.

Thanks. Yes I might ask to speak to the doc rather than the nurse again x
