Supporting a family member with cancer

My sibling has been diagnosed with cancer today . It has been a shock to us all as they are only 51 .
I’m obviously going to do what I can to support and wondered if anyone could offer any advice as to what on Earth I can do to help in anyway to make this time a little easier for them .
I’ve made it known that financially I can assist as they are self employed and will need to take time off .
I’m desperate to do what I can as they are a single parent (2 teenagers )

If anyone can offer any advice or wise words , I would be extremely grateful as I’m in new territory and feel useless .

TIA
