just come back from taking 9mth ds to gp. he has not been himself for a few days and was burning up at the weekend, off food and milk. he is teething as well, so put it down to this. not had a temp since sunday, but still off food a bit, will eat with bit of persuasion, and is ok with am and afternoon milk, but taking less at bedtime bottle. last night noticed a rash on his chest and back, so took him to get checked out today. gp has said the rash is viral, and to give him half strength milk, as it can prevent it turning into a tummy bug(??). has anyone ever heard of doing this? thing is he is already waking at 6am, and seems hungry for his bottle, which is the norm for him ,as he won't eat much at teatime. he is tired when he wakes at this time, and will go back to sleep,; but if i only give him diluted milk tonight, what time is he going to wake hungry then!? he hardly ate his tea tonight, just a few spoonfuls of veg soup ang potatoe.
