Question about AF's and BF!!

Last time my period came back at about 6 weeks despite exclusively feeding DS. DD is now 5.5 weeks and also exclusively BF - is Af likely to ship up early again or do I deserve a break second time around?? What were your experiences please?!

There have been quite a few threads on this if you do a search. TBH I think you were unlucky last time but you may get them back early this time too. I was 4 months first time and 9 this time around...would've liked longer!

Out of interest do your babies feed during the night as I think lack of night feeding can mean periods return earlier...at least it means more sleep though!

This is what I was wondering. When DS was born he was jaundiced so not much feeding at all TBH for the first 4/5 days. DD has very much been a very different kettle of fish. Night feeds vary, some nights once other nights 2/3 times!

no idea floss. mine didnt return untill dd3 was 16months old and i felt horrendous for the first 4 or 5 months with terrible (worse than normal) PMT and really heavy flow as well (tmi i know)

Not what you need really then. I suppose the body has to make up for the break somehow! I've not been on MN much lately, how is your lovely DH doing?

With my first two AF turned up at 8 weeks, but this time round it was 9mths! So not too bad!
