Anyone been prescribed Norethisterone 5mg for PMT?

I went to the Docs about my raging pmt & was prescribed this. I don't like the sounds of the possible side effects though.

She has given me 3 months worth & if all else fails I she will prescribe Prozac .

Hi , I just wanted to warn everyone , I was given Norethisterone to help with pre menopause and heavy periods and my iron was to low . This would stop it , it also gave me Two strokes half an hour apart and encephalitis , luckily I was out with my son coming from his hospital appointment , if I had been at home , I wouldn't be here , it left me with epilepsy , partially blind , muscle spasms and I will never be any better than this , it was Seven yrs ago . Please be careful , my step daughter took something that really helps going through an early change from Holland and Barrett and has not got these awful side effects . Hi I've been on northisterone 5mg tablets, 3 times a day for nearly a year, for the past 2 weeks I've been bleeding/some discharge also mild pains in my stomach, has anyone else experienced this? I did have a 3 wk break Christmas/New year and didn't have a period which is strange cus I was supposed to have one.

Become last time I was on the norethisterone tablets
After taking them I the bleeding was running down my legs as I couldn't make it the toilet in the time but I forgot how long the withdrawal bleeding last for

Someone said yesterday they took the norethisterone tablets and never bleed after taking them is this true
Because I'm scared of having the same symptoms as last I was on them
