Feel like my head is going to explode...

I had a cold about three weeks ago (not even sure if that is relevant). I'm not snotty or coughy or even catarrhy but head feels like it is stuffed up, I've got massive pressure in the middle of my forehead and for the last few weeks I've had quite a few spells of feeling dizzy and lightheaded. What the frickin' hell is going on? I really don't want to go to the doctor but it's really getting on my nerves now and I keep snapping at dc because I'm in pain or feeling dizzy alot of the time. Please can anyone help? (I've taken sinutab this evening but it hasn't helped. Looking at this ruddy screen is painful too )

be worth going to the dr in case you have infected sinuses.

You could always try a diff brand of sinus clearing stuff - sudafed for example (spray works quicker than tablets)>

This long though I'd go to dr.

I was going to say sinuses, that pressure feeling sounds familiar. Are you getting any flashing lights in your vision? double vision at all? because it also sounds somewhat like a migraine.

Feel better!

Oh and I agree - go to the doctors!

DANCESwithHughJackman · 28/10/2007 18:49

Um a bit of blurry vision. Can't take sudafed because it turns me into a monster! Don't really have pressure under my eyes which is where I've had it with Sinuses before it like someone is pushing their fist really hard in between my eyes and into my forehead (hasn't quelled my sense of drama you see). The pain is crap but the dizziness is what is freaking me out Thanks for the replies

I had sinusitis a few weeks ago, I have never had ear ache before and hope I never go there again, I've never known anything like it. I couldn't drive for double vision and dizzyness for a few days. GP gave me a nasal spray - I thought what the but it was amazing, worked a treat, if the chemist is still open see if you can get a spray rather than sinutab (I took all sorts which didn't touch the pain). She gave me a steroid one as it was so painful but said next time start with a salt water one you can buy over the counter. Worth a try.

Thanks! I have a spray somewhere from last time I had sinusitus, I'll see if it's in date and give it a whirl if it is.
