Inflammatory bowel disease or Bowel Endometriosis

Has anyone been diagnosed with either of those, or been diagnosed as one then it's been changed to the other?

Dr suggesting I take IBD treatment though I've never had a clear result from MRI or colonoscopy which came back fine.

I'm worried about being treated for something so long term which actually hasn't been diagnosed. A second colonoscopy is being held up as hospitals so busy. I think the condition comes about before my period hence thinking Bowel Endo.

Any experience from other Mumsnetters?

Hi im experiencing this at moment. My problems coincide with my periods but my gp has always just looked at me like im an alien. Iv just had a sigmoidoscopy for suspected IBD which came back all fine but apparently bowel endo cant really be diagnosed by this procedure Its such a horrible thing an im getting nowhere fast😓 anyone with advice???
