How did you benefit when you stopped eating meat?

Hi,

I decided a couple weeks back I no longer want to eat meat. I think I ate so much of it over Christmas and I felt so sluggish and rubbish that I thought I would stop and see how it goes. I was wondering if you use to eat meat and then stopped what benefits did you notice? Do you feel better for it?

I think it all depends what you substitute meat with. If with he Frankenstein-fake-vegan-food, you will feel worse, if you go for legumes, tofu, you will feel lighter.
When switching to a vegan diet in 2017 I lost weight and looked younger.
I have a vegetable rich diet, high in fibre and colours.
I don't have ultra processed food.
I am not going back
