I know, its Oct, very late for biting things!

But I was int he college library yesterday and wiped a flying thing off myface - 10 mins later had a huge itchy sore welt under my R eye that I can see allthe time in my peripheral vision and its doing me in!

What can I put on something so near (like less than a cm under) my eye. its about the size of a pea and ITCHY!!!!!!!!

Maybe try taking an antihistamine for the itching? Bathe it in bicarb?

Pixiefish · 25/10/2007 22:02

get some Piriton- anti histamine

ChipButty · 25/10/2007 22:03

Try piriton to stop the itching. Cream prob not advisable so near your eye. Was it a mosquito? Still lots of them about here.

no antihisthamine in the house (i know, what kind of wife of a doctor am i!)

Will go look for some bicarb. Is baking soda the same?

If you used a cotton bud could you put tea tree or lavander on it?

harrisey · 25/10/2007 22:13

Oh bugger - I'm sorry - I put tea tree on my bites to prevent infection

I do apologise - Sorry

Katymac · 25/10/2007 22:39

Would a bit of aqueous cream sooth it?

Katymac · 25/10/2007 23:02

Sorry
