Itchy and scratchy club. Psoriasis suffers come and moan with me

Just need a whine (seems to be my week for it!)
I've had it since I was little so its nothing new but sometimes it just drives me a bit batty.

I knew that it was starting to flare a bit this time. Scalp is covered and one of my legs has been gradually getting covered. But I felt that old itchy feel on my torso and just had a look. waaaaah (she says in a pathetic sort of way) My entire tummy is covered in guttate psoriasis. Can't get my finger between the spots. Its quite faint at the moment but I know its going to be a bad flare. From the look of where the spots are appearing its going to be a head to toe job.

Last time I had a flare like this gp referred me to dermatologist who prescribed widespread cortisone (told me just to rub it in every where I had psoriasis and not to worry ) and to sun bathe each day.

Well I had cataracts removed this year. Surgeon thinks they were steroid induced. That really puts me off the cortisone as another side effect is raised eye pressure and I'm due further eye surgery in December. And the sunbathing - well I'm not exactly going to lie out in October am I?...

So. I feel grumpy.
hmpf.
