C Section Scar- Hypertrophic???????

I had DS by elective section 10 months ago and I think the surgeon did a fairly good job- well as good as it gets on the NHS that is. Parts of the scar are still raised and I think might be hypertrophic. I already have keloid/hypertrophic scar tissue from when I had a breat reduction 13 years ago. I am thinking of trying a silicone patch which can be worn over the scar for 12 weeks and is said to be quite effective. I do think though, that as I always have a full brazilian, it might be slightly more noticeable

Anyone got any experience of hypertrophic scars or the silicone patches?? Ta.
